Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said,
“Anyone whom Allah has given wealth but he does not pay its Zakah, then, on the Day of Resurrection, his wealth will be presented to him in the shape of a bald-headed poisonous male snake
with two poisonous glands in its mouth and it will encircle itself round his neck and bite him over his cheeks and say, “I am your wealth; I am your treasure.”
Then the Prophet recited this Divine Verse:–
“And let not those who covetously withhold of that which Allah has bestowed upon them of His Bounty.” {3.180} [Bukhari : Book 6 : Volume 60 : Hadith 88]
‘Ali ibn Abi Talib said, “The Prophet said: ‘If my Ummah bears fifteen traits, tribulation will befall it.’ Someone asked, ‘What are they, O Messenger of Allah?’ He said, ‘When any gain is shared out only among the rich, with no benefit to the poor....'

If I was in his position I would've done the same without any regrets albeit more discreetly.
Africa is screwed not because of these corrupt leaders but because of their unproductive population who can't compete on the global market.
More developed countries are inevitably going to exploit this by giving those poor African leaders another resource to skim loot off from their short lived positions.
Even if everyone in that tiny country was 5x more productive...the government would still raise less than a billion in tax.
Got nothing against the dad but he should perform a late abortion on his useless son the VP.

Disgusting! Uprising def needed here. Populace needs to be armed. And u know many industrial countries have no problem with this fool in power. Give him a few shiny things and he lets them rape the country at will will his people live in squalor. Can’t get much more disgusting than that.
