I have read the New York Daily extensively abt this tragedy. From what I gathered the shot family definitely kept provoking the downstairs family. They called the cops 311 times. They complained to the building authorities 100 times. The victims were immigrants from shit-hole Haiti. They had too many kids in that apartment. These kids would run back and forth.
Can you imagine having one of those squeaky floors above you that you can hear anyone walking. Now imagine if people were deliberately provoking you.

I hate anyone who messes with my sleep.

I even divorced a Xaliimo over this. After she gave birth I didn’t moved to the next room so that baby won’t disturb my sleep. She took it as if I don’t want her. She complained to my family. (It wasn’t the main issue she had with me. Then other being my notorious cheating ways).
