This road is up to Awaare district then maybe Dhagaxbuur. While the planned Wajaale one would be up to Jigjiga. Another road is planned inside Ethiopia connecting Gashaamo - Daroor- Awaare-Jigjiga that one has high potential for trade as well.

Where? wadada cad also has a advantage since it is located on very flat land and doesn't have numerous seasonal rivers unlike the Oodweyne route which will be costlier to build.

I don't remember honestly but if you think about it it's on the way to Harar and that's the major inland hub. Southern merchants from Beledweyne and Baidao would travel up there and do commerce with Hararis and HA and GX merchants and Awaare is on the southern route.

This is construction to path out and prepare the road between Salaxley & Ina Guuxa to be paved with asphalt. They just finished levelling and layering Qool Caday to Salaxley and will be paved soon inshaAllah

CG locals + diaspora have been fundraising heavy this year to finally finish off the road. Local haween from all subs just put up $60K last month
