The leasing of cars applies to most of the middle class working in the private sector, but the school fees and the rent of a house factored into your pay packages for tax purposes are for the executives of major companies. It’s still welfare.
I think we pay more taxes than the Yankees. But the funny thing is you tax your poor. For an American earning $US9500, h/she has to pay a 10% tax, in Australia, you pay tax if only you are earning above $US15,000. Beyond that bracket, the Yankees have a cheaper tax rate. The British are worse. If they earn £5000 to £30,000, they’ve to pay a 20% tax. It gets worse for middle income earners. It’s 40% tax while in America, it’s 25% and Australia is 32%.
I mean it sounds like a Utopia
