Siad Barre was a Tribalist. Somali Nationalism is the removal of Tribal affiliations and the establishment of a National Identity.

None of us live in the 15th century. We are in the Modern Era with Modern Nations that have National Interests. If you wish to live in an undeveloped village with recurring droughts and clashes with others and illiteracy, be my guest.
