Most Egyptians are not of arab origin. They are arabized. Same with maghrebis being of berber origin. This guy waffles shows some pics that look "black". There were nubians, but they were a small minority that existed. But that does not mean most egyptians were "black" and I say "Black" because using 21 century race beliefs onto Ancient Egyptians is stupid. I could show you pictures where egyptians were lighterskinned but did this matter? No. Egypt was diverse, but still the majority were eastern Mediterranean people. These people need to realise arab is not always an ethnic term. It is more of a cultural term like hispanic. Do not use race logic on ancient people, the egyptians themselves had ideas of race that is nowhere similar to the modern anglo one

Everyone in the video is wrong including the Egyptian guy, ancient Egyptians didn’t look like him as they’d be a lot more brown/dark skinned (not olive skinned) due to being highly Natufian (probs around 80-90%) the Caucasus hunter gatherer ancestry that spread across Asia and Egypt around 3/4000 years ago is probably what contributed to lighter skin in ancient Egyptians but that doesn’t mean dark skin = sub-Saharan African ancestry as that’d make Indians black too.

They debunked all of these theories of Egyptians being anything but Nubians. Yes, there were different era were other ethnic groups were involved but according to archaeologists the high rank families of ancient were Nubians.

Why are they obsessed with Egyptian history? What about other African histories, my goodness, they are such a miserable collection of people.

They should educate themselves about west african history that is where their ancestry came from. And they aren't even descendants of nubians. People don't realise how large and wide africa is. It's like going from spain to the edge of south yemen that's how far it is. But you get my point it is very far away.

Its crazy how even if the Ancient Egyptians were black they would not be west african so they still have no claim to it.

If you compare that to somalis who say dont claim X somali history because its not from your clan 💀
