I never said they're omotic, they're certainly not bantu tho, show me any shiidle, makanne eyle etc elder claiming Bantu origin . The Bantu ancestry amongst cushitic maay speakers is from bantu concubines.

No such thing as "somalized" , the second ones are diverse, some speak their language like wazigulas whilst others speak a distinct Dialect of af maay. No evidence of gasar being a bantu name

They are not Somalized, which means having the culture and speaking the language. I have been to Shiidle villages and it literally looks like Congo, they look Congolese and even though they are mostly Somalized they still have weird Bantu culture dances.

Interestingly, some of the Minority groups in Southern Somalia were called Habash, perhaps to denote slaves of Ethiopian Cushitic origin in the beginning, but the name seems to have expanded to be more encompassing.

IMO- these groups aren’t omotic but:

Somali Hunter gatherers+Hunter gatherers turned cultivators+ run away Bantu slaves+possibly Cushitic low castes.
