Idk honestly. I’ve seen how within the black manosphere channel how they’ve been turning black men away from black women by constantly bashing them ( they’re ghetto, overweight, and ratchet ), and the whole “get your passport boys ! And go to 3rd world count and get a wife”, etc etc.
But we don’t have the same culture as them. We don’t do baby mama culture, we don’t have our men having these intense hatred for us as black American men do for their women and vice versa. Our community still tends to marry each other, so idk how it will go.

Majority somali’s grew up with parents. Even if it was just one, they still did good job. It’s up to the guys and girls to make good decisions early on. Allah will ask us about our life then he will ask about our years when we were young. Its scary wallahi.
Yeah, some of these women love toxic men. Best to avoid them. My type are miskeen, nerdy type. They’re really hard to find amongst our extroverted culture but vast in others.

If anything, you can argue that not having a father figure is worse for a man as he has no example of masculinity nor any example of what it is to be a father. At least girls in single parent homes, especially the daughters of typical Somali hooyos who were born and raised back home are exposed to motherhood, domesticity and a general female they can identify with.
But the reality is, don’t expect these male sexists to have a modicum of self awareness. Life is simply easier when you point the finger at women and women only.

These men that spew this nonsense about avoiding girls that were raised in single mother homes, never realize how we were still raised to as you said … cook, clean, take care of the family and overall as you said be domestic.. while still expected to hold on to our cultural values.
There’s countless studies that have stated that men who grow up without fathers have many consequences such as more at risk to be in prison, become feminine, more at risk to not be successful in school. And including the ones you

I just avoid and don’t bother to engage or interact with men who think this way cause they are never prepared for us women to counteract and hit them with facts such as the above. And show them how stupid they sound when they say stuff like this.

I have come to terms that us somalis are in our Dark Age where we are suffering from an intellectual and cultural decline. The idiotic behaviour displayed by our people online and offline is something out of a fictional book. I have started to avoid the idiots on social media and the inflammatory topics and wish people on Sspot would do the same and stop these topics. But as I said earlier, people love controversy and our people are no different.
