Theholisticman is he the Somali Kevin samuels

@Chaseyourdreamzz @Bundasliga

Read my 2nd response to Bunglasia. Our community set up is very different to others. I'm not making excuses, but you find this phenomena in every aspect of Somali visibility. We're very self absorbed as a community and insular.

I'll give you an example. I've noticed on YouTube, all non Somali YouTubers have to do is mention Somalis or react to Somali content and a humble creator who averages around 1k views can easily get 50k views off the backs of Somalis. I don't know if it's a form of cultural narcissism (that could be a theory) but it definitely gives us an insight to the Somali psych. We do have an unusual fixation on anything Somali related or Somali people. Other communities don't have that.

While I agree that Somalis are obsessed with each other, I think that this goes beyond this.

There is a loss of any geerah for our image as a community. Being insular does not explain why Somalis are spreading our ceeb to the world and fighting each other in English. They even copy videos from back home and put translations on it so that the whole world can watch it.

When they behave this way, ask yourself who is their main target audience? Somalis or ajnabis? They only care and live for the comments of other Somalis, but they're too stupid to realize that on the wide web you're also exposing yourself to different communities. Plus, they're hooyo mataalo, so their Somali isn't great.

My previous theory was that I thought that it was mostly fueled by low-selfesteem but upon reflecting, I think it comes from a place self-centeredness. Seeing how well non Somalis are also able to court widespread attention for simply talking about Somalis and a Somali alike simply has to be Somali to get attention illustrates to me that the issue isn't self-hatred but self-obsession. Both can be just as bad and can manifest similar results.

This is just my theory.

Why do you think there’s more online content bashing Somali women nowadays compared to before what’s fueling it ?

Women can’t stop giving him attention, I remember this guy averaged less then 1500 views on Tiktok. Somalis especially women are now spreading his videos making him more famous. I don’t know why, only possible reason I have is women find him attractive otherwise they wouldn’t care about his content like this.
This comes down to a lot of these xalimos being attention starved

You've missed the point.

He was addressing Muslim women as a whole until Somali girls decided to jump in and turned it into a Somali men vs Somali women thing.

And now those same Somali girls are spreading his videos on Twitter. This guy used to average 200 likes...that's how obscure his tiktok account was.

There is a section of Muslim men who are pushing very misogynistic views online but only Somalis turn themselves into a spectacle by attacking each other.

Others keep this debate around gender roles under the wider Muslim umbrella.

As a Somali woman, I detest Somali male incels but I loathe the Somali girls who keep giving attention to these anomalies and spreading it to their big audiences.

When you wrestle with qashin, some of the dirt gets on you too. We now have posts where Somali women are being insulted with a few likes going viral because Somali girls are giving it oxygen. For example, this girl has over 5000 followers..why give this guy any publicity? Why allow space for Somali men and women to fight each other as ajanabis join in?

Isn't just Somalis. This is the whole Muslim community and it's because they've been influenced by the manosphere and have now brought that into Islamic community discourse. Also, I think women's rise in standards and women not wanting the type of marriages that their grandparents had whilst on the other hand, a lot of the men wanting to continue that tradition along with the desire to roll back women's rights is contributing to this.

At the core, I really do think its mostly influenced by the dire state of the economy and more and more men realizing that their grandfather's reality of being the sole breadwinner is a distant past and a pipe dream for many. Now they're blaming women's employment for this. Also women's economic independence means that they now want men to also contribute to household labor and many women would now rather not marry or even divorce rather than settle with a man that does not share those values of being helpful. Since many men are not willing to adapt to their reality, the manosphere gives them that hope. The thing is, women no longer need just a provider and many men due to the constraints of our economy can't even fully provide, yet they're also not willing to offer more in a relationship which counteracts the lack of being the sole breadwinner.

Disgusted Steve Carell GIF

Very Sad, so handsome yet with a small penis syndrome :(
Beat me to it lmaoooo.
Oftentimes I promise men like him who do nothing but complain about women ? Have issues and are unsuccessful with them and are not as perfect and religious themselves.
Or run into the same types of certain women and think all of them are like this.
I’ve seen loads of men like him unfortunately.

Truly confident and mentally healthy men aren’t going to be constantly complaining about women.
Same with the women who do this. The ones who seem to always about men and say “men are trash”.

It’s the men that person deals with and not all men and she needs to resolve her issues within.

His personal issues with women are not for others to hear.
He needs to look within himself and and just learn to vent to his friends or a counsellor or a sheik.
Best Buy needs to stop selling microphones to any and everybody.

They’ve seen what other content creators have done by bashing certain women and attracting attention to it, and getting views…

Thus men like him will realize… hey I can be the next Kevin Samuels and instead of bashing African American women… I can do it to Somali women, knowing Somali men who have issues with women will run to view it and many women will as well…

Then see my channel grow from it, cause he knows we are a nosy people and seem to gravitate towards the negative mentions of us.
Just my thoughts.
