The world's unhealthy fixation with Japan

This thread is inspired by the recent commotion of a Frenchmen assaulting the Japanese women. @Three Moons made an excellent remark about how everyone including white supremacists not wanting to be seen in a bad light in Japan; hell it's even so bad the man who assaulted the women who was clearly a White French man was pushed to be classified as an arab and other things or essentially a non white person.

The mental gymnastics that these twitter users displayed just so that they don't ruin their reputation of whites in Japan has got me thinking just what exactly is the obsession the world has for Japan?

Everyone glazes Japan for some reason its not even funny, glad a thread was made about this.
Im also glad they got nuked because some of the atrocities' they did in world war 2 was absolutely insane.

According the TheProfessionals Last night's stream, the japanese during world war absolutely worshipped their leader and general McArthur made the important decision to spare him as this would only lead to more chaos after the war had ended.

Basically, I believe Japanese people are nice and cool, a little unique but chill. If it works, it works, its thier country, they get to do what they want to do.

I definitely would visit the country, but wouldnt live or stay long-term there.

and its cause of these stupid anime fans that japan is basically... not worshipped but close to it in a way. Japan is potrayed the final destination, the holy land (Subanallah) it is crazy because all anime fans think like this and as much as they refuse they wont be able to refute this.

Anime might be the best foreign policy ever created, it allowed Japan to be admired by millions upon millions of people and combined with the positive news that comes out of there, its obvious why people are trying to protect their name in view of japanese people.

This is only increased with main consumer group of anime, White people.

I do want to talk about the japanese prision system because it might be the most harshest I have ever seen. The mere fact of talking to others will increase your prision time and you will be beaten. Do you know why the japanese police have a 99.9% conviction rate? Because once your apprehended, they want to make sure they were right and will use anything in order prove you guilty, may it be torture or isolation. This is all based of the extremely strong value and shame system that I have observed takes place in Japan. which leads me to my next point.

The japanese people make sure to be very respectful because it is apart of their culture, shame plays a HUGE role in their reputation of being one of the most respectful and cleanest country.

I recently learned of the Nanjing Massacre that took place exactly before WW2 the Japanese single handily wiped out 30 million Chinese civilians in the span of a year. High school girls were r*ped up to 6 times a day and new born babies would be thrown in the air and caught with the Japanese soldier's bayonets. What the Japanese did was among the deadliest genocides in human history yet education systems around the world and the media love to regurgitate the holocaust when the Chinese undoubtedly suffered more
