No, but Bantus sold to Somalis by the Arabs were kept as slaves. If I recall correctly the Italians wanted Somalis to work on their plantations but the Somalis at the time refused so they also used Bantus, despite the fact that Italians abolished (or rather tried to abolish) slavery in the late 1800s
