I think scholars speaking less acts as an adornment in that it allows them to speak through their actions more, have people keep them to less higher standard and be humble with their plethora of knowledge, instead being like a covered diamond that people will only ever see glimpses of, as if they saw the whole thing they would eventually undervalue itI like the first part of the saying- The adornment of the scholar. Scholars tend to speak in long speeches, oblivious of their knowledge prowess to their surrounding. So being silent, is an adornment for them? How did u understand it?
