We have to dead this myth that everyone back home is angel without sins. I have a relative that came here in his teenage years, was always very rebellious and now is covered in tattoos from head to toe. He can still recite the quran from cover to cover effortlessly and is generally a nice person. People are people at the end of the day, some toe the line and others cross it 
Yes but it's crazy how much people can change from just the environment. It begs the question if they were ever good people and were really just a wolf in sheeps clothing waiting for their chance. Or does the enviroment cause the actual change. Nature vs Nurture. I've noticed this with many kids that I grew up with, a huge eye opener and very sad. Most human beings are followers no matter what. they take on where society is heading. so if we live in religious traditional society, most will just follow suit

That's a big generalization. What's even worse is that you're comparing western society with SOmalia's society while you're living in the western society which makes you very biased. Morals in Somalia and the Morals in western countries are very different, so yes by western logic Somalis are immoral, just like how Somalis see westerners as immoral.
I know that but I'm wondering how easy it is for people to switch up you know? That girl was a refugee and in just a few years she completely changed (for the worse). But if someone else was in her position I'm sure it would be different. So you can't blame it on society itself. I was an immigrant once too but even after 10 years I still kept my values.

no my mom showed me the originial video from Whatsapp. She barely fell off the 3ed floor by slowly getting off and dangling down on to a soft grassy area, I'm sure it still hurt since 3 stories is no joke but it's nothing life threatening. She was just trynna secure a better status than a refugee. If she was really trying to die a quick painless death she would have jumped off the top floor.
