Right after bush invaded Iraq, Iran thought they were next and was preparing peace talks.

Israel's iron Dome can certainly hold against home made rockets by the hundreds but It can't go against a rain of manufactured rockets. Plus Israel fucked themselves over when they gave confidential tech to China, if that ever ends up in a hostile countries hands they can say bye to protection from the air.
