The common people are nothing at all but common. Actual historical analysis indicates that for the vast majority of time the masses have no interest or knowledge of theology. Like for example, the science of subatomic particles it is the domain of an autistic insular community which then leaks to the masses in its most superficial form. These people are maybe the 2nd generation of those who became literate in their families. All of this is a problem for those who believe that the “right aqeedah” is necessary for salvation as that condemns most of humanity who has ever lived to hellfire.
