Inside the second one, i draw the Congo river, it is the second longest river in Afirca, but the most powerful one. It is estimated that the Congo River discharges an average of 41,000 cubic meters. In comparison to the Nile, the nile discharge around 2,800 cubic meters per second, while the congo is 41 thousands cubic meters. Their depth also are quite different, the nile is 10 meter max deep, while the Congo is 220 meters. Imagine what you could do with such river!!! You can supply the whole of Africa with water and electricity with that river only.
I once thought about making dam on that river and extend pipes from there to Somalia. It would have been expensive project, but the goal justifies the cost.
But sadly, Africa's topography fails that good idea of making some easy prospect for africans, as it always did. Look at these mountains highlighted in yellow, they crush that idea of pipes. It was an imaginative idea and expansive one, but damn these mountains.
