Egypt will never unlock their full potential with al sisi aka al yahudi in power. Not only does he oppress Muslims in Egypt and cooperate with israel but he is extremely corrupt. This tyrant builds palaces for himself while many Egyptian live in poverty.

Egyptian military have their priorities misplaced. They should leave business(including the procurement/manufacturing of weapons) to the private sector.

Egypt has a lot of catching up to do in order for them to reach & surpass Turkey's level of military prowess, since they'll need to defend their interests in the Mediterranean & Libya e.g to prevent Turkish domination.

Egypt has already given up its interest in Mediterranean sea to Cyprus and Greece, not only that, but it has been dealing with terrorist group in Sinai over 7 years with out any out come. And their military is busy with securing contracts to build roads and buying farming firms :lolbron:

That's not the case. Egypt and Greece/Cyprus are trying to contain Turkey's expansionist EEZ in the Mediterranean. Turkey even acknowledged Libya's claim over a portion of Greece's EEZ & have come to an agreement to reduce Greece's EEZ:

This is Turkey's claim:

He's right though you have to be mentally challenged to think Ethiopia would stand a chance

The problem with you guys is that you always think a war as a one time incident. Yes Egypt can destroy the dam or what not but only short sighted people think there ends the war. We have many options to really hit Egypt where it hurts like shifting from the a mega dam to small scale irrigation and actually diverting the water and highly reducing the water. They can get emotional and celebrate their short sighted victory if they are dumb like many here but they will never win the long term war and will lose all the water war at the end. I hope they are not short sighted like Barre :) who thought war is about a one time incident. It is a long term marathon and we will see who really wins the water war at the end.

The whole point of these negotiatioms is that Ethiopia wants to avoid an agreement that restricts its capacity to harness its massive hydropower potential and Egypt wants exactly such a restriction which is why your people won't settle for less than the mega dam.

The US treasury released a statement telling Ethiopia explicity to not put this dam into test without an agreement so that will definitely not happen.

Bottom line is there's no way you'll win negotations with the US as the mediator and at worst you can slightly reduce the water like you said but without that dam its atleast a billion dollars Ethiopia is losing so its not Egypt losing in this. Politics is all about playing your cards right but I doubt an would understand that Egypt has you cornered and that dam won't be built P.S atleast barre didn't get bytched by some arab mutts

Forget the US treasury, his settlement was promptly and openly rejected by Ethiopia as unacceptable and highly partisan. There ends his statment.
