Do you guys think that the the meaning of the term "anti-semitism" should be broadened to incorporate other Semitic peoples too?

I feel that the term has been hijacked.

The Jews owned this term, while the Arabs (& other Asians) were coined on their behalf “orientalism” by the late Palestinian American scholar Edward Saed. Arabs don’t want to associate and share a common name like semitism with the Jews.

I feel that the term has been hijacked.

The idea that your mother had to be a Jew for u to be a Jew means that the Semitic is not a fathers line right? Otherwise both Jews and Arabs will be Semites. I believe the Semitic origin dates back to Isaaq son of Ibrahin pbuh
