I personally have always had a love/hate relationship with Israel, but it's time to actually present the historical facts about this people, without adding my emotional twist to it or sourcing information about them from non jews. The undeniable fact is this is the only group of human beings who have suffered a million times of pain/oppression/struggle over the longest duration in history.
The pain started with Egypt slavery/bondage, it escalated to occupation by persia-assyria-babylon-romans-arabs-ottomanss-british. Then came the great exile in jesus time period till 1948 nearly 2000 years, they remained landless, un-armed, suffered horrendous discrimination world-wide and multiple pogroms and finally the ultimate holocaust. There is no group of humans who have endured all that for nearly 3500 years without even a 'BREAK'. I mean in comparison Blacks have suffered slavery-discrimination-occupation for 300 years 'max' and they 'cry' all day/night, could these ppl put up with what jews went through for 3500 years? of course not. They couldn't walk a day in the shoes of a jew, their WEAK.
The holocaust is the worst genocide to ever taken place in human history, I say that with the upmost confidence. The holocaust deniers/minimizers try to use other events of persecution or killings but none of them were in any way similar to what we witnesssed with the jews. The Jews were un-armed and not fighting anyone and were selected to be 'erased' man-child-woman by Hitler. That's the ultimate act of a coward. Where-as every other example used to minimize or deny the holocaust doesn't have any of those attributes, in-fact every killing mentioned those 'groups' were actively in a WAR and are collateral of WAR not 'genocide'.
The word genocide is thrown around a-lot but u must meet it's definition. It's the killing of un-armed people who are not involved in any armed conflict nor harboring armed elements. Once that group is involved in the conflict, the term genocide cannot even be applied, but war collateral is more appropriate, their part n parcel of the war and any outcome that happens to them is the result of war not genocide.
Finally what I admire about them the Jews the most is even the whole world against them for 3500 years(something I can't even imagine) yet 'survived' but not only that 'thrive' in the world of knowledge and wealth. Surely you can see why Israel is a bloody Miracle, it's impossible any other racial or religious group could suffer as long as they did while being landless/unarmed and in a world that is very much against them and still turn this negative into a positive.
