What did he promise and do? Though he is representing his base and came from a background as a community organiser like president Obama, I don't think he is nowhere near him. If he needs to become a mayor or transit to state and federal politics, he needs to be more polished and represent a wider range of voters other than oromo and Somalis in his ward. The Somali State rep is solely focused on single issues by these emerging communities and sooner or later, other voters will ask themselves, what is in it for me and ditch her. Her politics and lobbying should be (at-least seen as) inclusive.

Chiraq is faring comparatively well, really is a futuristic metropolis! Hopefully I can witness some of the bonobo chimps in their natural environment having a go at each other. It appears that they've evolved to utilise some sort of sign language indicating their turf. Smashing stuff, however I wouldn't recommend going near them without proper protective measures as hiv and other stds are rampant in the community.
