Mr. Hamza's post deserved a full post with an explanation of my stance (which's not complete for someone who've followed the war ever since it began).

I've seen him speak on this before so I already knew what his viewpoints were, but the fella triggered me with his words (even though he probably never meant the way people interpreted him)

The video is cripplingly unfunny, to the point of second hand embarrassment. Comedy is defintely not the arabs forte. The whole thing is giving jealousy. I believe that Ilhan being a well known Black + unapologetically Somali woman in the US congress makes them feel some type of way, because let's be real. Ilhan, even though sometimes controversial, has made history as a Black, Muslim and African female immigrant in American Congress. She has achieved something no Arab has. Not only her, but also the Somali woman who became the mayor in a mostly white city and the Somali man in Bidens adminstration- Somali-Americans really are changing the game in American politics and becoming more and more visible for reasons other than negativity. Meanwhile, carabta still aren't particularly liked in America & thanks to 9/11, they'll forever be known for and associated with terrorism and religious extremism.
