The role of woman in the sudan civil war.

I've been watching these videos and i noticed woman play a prominant role in the civil war, it makes me think of the somali civil war.

it actually makes no sense, because you would think that in a patriarchy and tribalistic society, woman would avoid speaking in these conflicts, because they have so much to lose. but i think, its because they have so much to lose that they sometimes take center stage in promoting violence.

what are your thoughts? do you know of a female "basto mere" story during somali civil war?

Women in Sudan are facing variety of violence, rape, beating, seeing your relatives massacred, raped again in front of your dead brothers, parents or children bodies, hanged from a tree alongside your children who are mostly dead.

- Examples are many,

for example there was a nurse who was captured by RSF militia men, they forced here to treat the injuries of one of them, after that 13 one of them raped her, then they killed her.

There are many women beaten after marching tens of kilometers in the desert.
Thousands of brutal rape cases documented by international humanitarian agencies from the women in refugee camps.
Mothers hanged from trees alongside their baby kids
Mothers killed in the streets

War affects the whole of the population, women are half of that.

Why would they not comment on it?
This war is started by men and continued by men. This inhuman is trying to make it a gender war by accusing the sudanese women of being a center part of this war, while they are the most effected and having zero contribution of it at the same time. Waa bastar

I am talking about bad people, not victims. I believe anyone perpetuating violence should be held accountable. Do you think the mothe an RSF fighter, who tells him he did a good job for killing unarmed civilians is innocent? or a female commander who allows those fighters to rape civilians?

During the neurenberg trails, female prison guards were sentenced too.
