He sold Somali women to get sexually exploited in the homes of addict Arab men many of whom look at housesmaids as ‘what their right hand posseses’ aka slave women who could be taken, and even raped with no danbi. This was nothing short of musiibo sharaf darro to the highest order. Any race that cannot protect their women folk deserve to perish. In this case forget protecting he even sold them!

He never made any agreement with UAE, even though there are more Somalis there than KSA.
As for better relationship, I call cap. At that point in time, UAE had a hospital, military base and schools in Somalia. KSA had no major infrastructure aid in Somalia.
So why did HSM send maids there when he could’ve sent it to a larger Somali community and better ally in the UAE?

HSM did a quid pro quo for Somali maids in exchange for benefits (fiscal or otherwise) from Saudi Arabia.
If he didn’t, wouldn’t he have made a deal with the UAE also?

After all it was Saudi Arabia that was willing to sign the contract because Saudis had a demand they wanted to fill. What HSM did is what any sensible leader would do, he provided an opportunity for his people to better themselves and their families. HSM did not force anyone nor sell. So just drop this futile propaganda, no sane person is gonna buy it.

Is that true? I have a kenyan and Ethiopian maid in the gulf and they both came from agencies within their country from what I understand.
