There is a man on Twitter whose name I forgot saying that Puntland made a mistake when it accepted the current system of federalism that makes her equal to a paper states run from Xamar like Galmudug and Hirshabelle and calls for dividing the country into two regions: SL and PL vs the south because they are ahead of the south and Mogadishu so they should have more independence and autonomy from the rest this is good suggestion but you we need this to be based on the original 8 regions so Hiiraan can be on its own region and be free from the Isbaaro regions, putting the whole Mudug under PL, Banaadir and middle Shabelle, Lower Shabelle one region.

The Capital should be moved to Ceerigaabo

Somaliland basing their claim to Independence on sentiment would set a dangerous precedent, as you would have every village in the region able to declare independence on a whim. Somaliland's status as a country in 1960 was based on lines the British drew, and to reclaim that status, the regions of SSC are needed.

The British didn't have a treaty with the Dhulbahante if i'm correct. Shouldn't they have an argument of having their lands autonomous from SL?
