Im afraid we will be stuck in this miserable situation for another 2 decades, Somalia has been a failed state longer than it was a functioning state.

Our generation needs to make the change. We all send money back but we don't threaten the locals to change their mind set. Even if it means every region builds their own region up for 10 yrs until we each can agree to live peacefully.

The biggest issues we face are terrorists backed by foreign countries, qabilism and tribal fights decreasing out numbers while our enemies fill up our cities pretending to do tahrib and neighbouring countries building up their armies while we decrease our own numbers whilst we combat drought, famine and diseases that further decrease our population.

We will die out if we don't love each other as muslims and hate our enemies together. We can disagree but we must never show our weakness to the enemies.

Make qabyaalad illegal. Anyone who spews tribalistic nonsense should be thrown in jail for 1 month. I used to admire Somalis. Honestly, as a Rwandan, I was proud to have some association with the warrior Nomads of old. That is most definitely not the case today. Especially not after lurking this forum for as long as I have.

You spend so much time discussing useless issues like: who has the nicer hair, the smaller nose, girls, qabil...we have a saying in Rwanda: "beauty doesn't feed you." I would rather be unattractive and be able to stand proud among men than be beautiful and useless.

Why do people talk about rwanda like it’s some sort of success story. The tutsis have been ruling by dictatorship for over 25 year. They’ve killed 6 million ****s in Rwanda and eastern Congo as revenge. Rwanda has roughly the same population and GDP as somalia. A few pictures of the city centre of kigali that was paid for with foreign debt can’t paper over the cracks.

It’s like folks that show videos of Italian infrastructure in Mogadishu and act like Somalia was a first world country under barre.

Lessen state powers without indulging and centralizing everything, cut out corruption and nepotism, dismantle 4.5, and change the Capital to Galkacyo.
