And like I said they are atomized even in Nigeria. So, why would a 100% Igbo consider African Americans which are a combination of various West African groups with some West European mixture to be same? And vice-versa. If there is shared ancestry it could be from 10 generations ago (and thats if they are related). As Somalis we forget nuances and consider everyone isku mid if they share similar features.

DNA from a few centuries ago isn't enough to create bonds of brotherhood which was my point. But you didn't get it.
The ancestors of AAs could not even communicate with each other and were forced to copulate with people they would have deemed foreigners in their homelands. But AAs have a shared historic legacy and set of experiences with each other that is divergent from continental West Africans.

And you're expecting AAs and Nigerians to be walaals all of a sudden because of genetic affinities.
