So ur doing stem or accounting and u think nursing is harder? nursing is definitely not easy but it doesn't come close to engineering and other stems.

I double majored in accounting/finance with a minor in economics and let's just say my friend who is a nurse spent more time studying than I did and was always doing some type of studying, nursing is not as easy as op is making it out to be, no one said Stem majors are easy I'm just saying nursing is not easy.

It might be true actually. Somali doctors in general are not that common, but the ones that do exist are usually male in my experience, even got a couple in my extended family.

Being a doctor in general is male dominated, i don't find it far fetched that Somali men follow that trend in relation to our community. Just like most Somalis in IT related jobs are generally men as well. Overall though Somali women are clearly more educated, i'm not arguing that.

To those of you saying that a college dropout in a STEM subject is more intelligent than a nursing major, you're out of line. Intelligence means nothing if you're not successful. The nurse who completed her degree is doing better than the guy not working or working a low paid job because he couldn't bother to finish school.

Also I personally know 6 female Somali doctors who are family or family of family.

Also I have a BA and MA but I own a house back home and my 10 year plan is to have a factory. I'm not even working in my field but my degree and universities were sought after and they involve little math.

Look at the right side of the bar curve. Makes sense. As IQ levels gets higher, males outnumber females. But when IQs are average females outnumber males. So there are more dumb males than females but also more smart males than females.


You can miss with that gender inequality excuse. No one is preventing you from becoming a doctor but yourself.

The female brain and male brain are different. Males are more creative and logical. While females are more emotional.

I think we need a balance between the two and we need females though. without them, I think men would go at wars with each other and nuke eachother. Pussy is whats keeping men peaceful.
