Why choose emasculation when there's other good paying jobs available? NO amount of mental gymnastics is going to make guys choose professions like nurse, make up artist etc unless they're outliers like homosexuals/metrosexuals. It's an automatic loss of social status for a normal straight men.

The thing wrong with our community is that we think success = going to college, and getting a piece of paper. Being successful goes beyond getting a college degree:

A Farah could go to trade school (finish in 6months at the most) then could become an electrician and make more than the average college graduate.

I agree, but not enough are doing that, and Somali girls are out pacing them in gaining college degrees (whether you deem them useless or irrelevant is beyond the point). I also don't think it's a Somali girl issue, there are plenty "aqoonyahan" with phDs in history, political science, sociology. Very few have degrees in the physical sciences where breakthroughs/research that actually advance and help the world are found.

lots of farahs should consider trade school instead of uni since they have a higher dropout rate. trade schools will train you for a great career with good pay. there will always be jobs in the construction. electricians in my city make over 100k.
