Most women gravitate towards "easier" degrees because a lot of have an inferiority complex when it comes to traditionally male environments like physics, mathematics and engineering. They also lack the abstract thinking to complete tasks because they never practiced it.

Intelligence is mostly curiosity, how many women do you think ask themselves questions like "why does re-heated food get colder faster than food from the oven" and then research electromagnetic radiation in depth? Hell most women can't even visualise a 3-d coordinate system. They're completely oblivious to their surroundings because they can afford to be.

I don't think the reductive categorization of humanities/social/soft sciences = easy, while hard science = hard. In psychology, you can pursue degrees on BA (bachelor of arts) & Bsc (Bachelor of science) The second one is more lab, science based with more use of statistics, which in your definition is harder than the BA one. Idk much about the other subjects, but my point still stands.

In response to your question: It's not just somalis, alot of boys don't really have the motivation for Uni either because they don't value education or the way alot of these boys learn and understand isn't compatible with the learning style in school in general.

While being a Xalimo I too have brain fog like the Farahs.
