The problem is the former government of Siad Bare created the economical imbalance in
the regions. For example look at the size of Sanaag (it is larger than Waqooyi Galbeed and
Togdheer combined) yet there is no single airport or port there. While Waqooyi Galbeed

Apparently, Western Somaliland is supposed to be getting lacaag. For Awdal where are the coins? And what is that landing strip, they used to call an airport?It boils down to who will eat and who will starve to death. HY regions can't afford another 5 years of Kulmiye with possible extension. The Kulmiye regions will take leaps that it is difficult for them to catch. The Dhulbahante are left behind because of political instability, you can't compare them to HY. HY are willing to participate but they're facing alliances that want to keep them out of power.

Yep Awdal is in the same boat as Sanaag, Togdheer and the other regions which have no single airport or port ( who also get the least from the Somaliland Development Fund (SDF).

I know that but its makes sense, but now everyone wants to develop their own cities but at a slower more painful rate. We live in an age when a simple road is built gets praised, wallahi it blows my mind.

If they have a tough time allocating smaller funds (i.e in Sland). How can they manage a surge of capital? Low Iq isn't their problem, as even those unable to button their shirts without assistance can still be equitable. I believe zero-sum thinking is their sickness.

Indeed it is greed. However those regions need to tell the IC Kulmiye doesn't represent them. Corruption shouldn't be tolerated.

there have been conflicts, clashes multiple habro wars but still the sland project prevailed as its the only thing that bonded us. due to sland stability and peace, population being 70 pct of rhe country, educated and enlightened young population no youth wants his blood shed for 3 senile old men. we are woke af abaayo. minor election dispute isnt comparable the stuff we went thru.

the question you should ask yoself is, what did you contribute to your regions? criticism is welcome but chipping in when sland integrity is at stake is questionable walaal.
the gov cant feed everyone. private sector built our region's and more private development can alleviate our problems.
100 of your own folk can out $1 million dollars, get free land from the gov for a "food security" program in ur fertile regions. same for water and electricity. the gov can focus on more important infrastructure like roads, education and health with public private initiative assistance.
thats how it goes in sland. but it seems alot of ppl just like to watch the gov fail instead of lending a hand.
as for awdal, sophi yall were part of the ruling party for whole existence, if things arent rhe way yall hoped it doesnt mean the gov neglected in your tuulo. it just cudnt do better.
