The EU is also backing independence for Scotland/Ireland while the Irish want a union, this is the good old Anglo Saxon's Vs Germanic tribes for dominance in Europe. This time the slavic Russian's are involved in the dispute.

Not to forget Turkey dispute with Southern Europeans that held the Roman Empire, the clashes are inevitable and going by history, they are deadly/bloody and genocidal in nature.

OP, i know about your mindset and your views and I'm no fan of trumps America too but i personally believe that it is imperative for the EU to stay as a block and get stronger somehow even though the UK just left the EU (lol).

A stronger EU will deter a belligerent Russia from doing more incursions into Europe (look what they done to crimea and it's indigenous muslim tatar population) + continued sanctions can limit it's capabilities in Syria to commit atrocities in conjunction with fellow crazies Assad and the Iranian regieme.

No one can be friends with a bully and tsar Putin's Russia are the biggest bullies there is.

I pity your kind. You go through your day hating your home country and wish for it's immediate demise every waking hour... and yet you can do nothing about it!

History doesn't give second chances to defeated ideas. The idea of Country/alliance vs Country/Alliance is widely discredited, so there will be no repeat of WW1 or WW2. Europe will never go to war against the US or the UK because Europeans learn from history unlike Somali savages who go on doing the SAME thing that ruined their country for 25 damn years!
