How I love the sound of rain, I live in the rainy city and that sound brings a smile to my face every-time. I am happy this will provide much needed relief to all lives
Somali nomads rely on doog or grassing land and vegetation for their animals, but they do little to nothing to improve the environment, infact the sometimes cut trees for charcoal and little extra income.
This rainy season is when most of the annual rain comes, yet part from primitive watcher catchments, they have not prepared for it, most of that water will either run off or become another problem as it becomes contaminated, malaria etc.
by the time of the next dry season they will fight each other again and cry about abaar.
Solution, create better environment for doog, the best of places last for 5 months in the year, but it is natural and geeljire deplete and destroy it, we need to create more of these areas by simply planting trees and creating ponds, very simple things to help nature.
