the reality is Mogadishu does not have the power to implement any of these changes outside Banadir
Never again will power be concentrated in xamar

Trouble is every power-hungry leader, with no discernible political vision or strategy for the nation, wants to fiddle with the Constitution to wholly accumulate power solely for the purpose of abusing it so as to appear as if he is doing something. They are incapable of working within the confines of their powers, and by provisions of the Constitution. What quantifiable local achievements has the current occupier of Villa Xamar done in the last 2 years, albeit has been acting as if a one-man show pantomime? Same applies to the one before him.

With the FGS tampering with the Electoral Commission, a FMS power mind you, is there a plan to hold elections in Xamar? Is there a defined strategy and budget where FMSs, allied with the FGS, could hold district Council elections in their respective districts?

Postscript:
Worse are FMSs leaders, for instance,
  • What has A Madoobe done in the last 11 years? His term expired n Aug. 2023, and is now squatting in villa Kismayo with no plan to holding elections.
    • Of the 14 districts in JL, which districts could he, or does he plan to hold district Council elections?

  • What has Lafta-gareen done in the last 5 years? His term expired in Dec. 2022, and is now squatting in villa Baydhaba with no plan to holding elections.
    • Of the 20 districts in SW, which districts could he, or does he plan to hold district Council elections?
Same applies to HS (12 districts) & GM (9 districts).
