Let them be unique lol. Buddhism is not a productive belief system on the national level in my opinion. Promoting non conformity is no no which is why you have a supposedly Buddhist government in Mynnamar having no qualms about violence/genocide because its not practical past the individual level. White atheists often gravitate to it to fix a spiritual void that rational/scientific based lifestyle may entail.
