FGS is an American creation and any future development is dependent on our relationship with them. Somalia has a significant western diaspora that can influence more favourable American policy in Somalia, we can open up our economy to American FDI, export to America/their allies, take advantage of the rush to climate investment given our high renewable energy potential, we can train alongside American troops and benefit from security pacts etc etc.
I can’t trust Africans let alone Somalis to run a stable state without them being guided

The fighting is taking place between former Jaysh Al Mahdi brigade loyal to Sadr against the Pro Iran Haashd Shaabi funded by IRGC. The fighting is taking place in the green zone of Bagdhad & throughout major cities in south of the country.
Sadr was a former Pro Iran cleric before his rose to power but now he has changed tactics to have his Arab Shia movement being the dominant force in the region vs the Iranian Majoosi puppets.
