I'm not saying Venezuela is better than Somalia but one issue is not enough to deem a country worse than the other. It's like me saying that the UK is worse than North Sudan because we have tax evasions which means the UK is filled with crooks and corrupt politicians.

Economic blips can be solved quick. But issues in healthcare or education take decades to solve.

Houndras is first for the country for with the highest murder rates in the world. It might be true for the inflation aspect but the Latin American debt crisis in the 80s contributed to the 800% inflation that Venezuela has.

How Venezuela's external sovereignty is showed in global governances, the policies of the Venezuelan government, trade and relations of the Venezuelan government with other countries, their significance in international relations, if TNC's come to their country and how much does Venezuela contribute to the successes of TNC's that come to Venezuela and any other economic, political and cultural factors that help decide whether or not a nation state is better than the other.

To really judge if Venezuela is worse than Somalia then there will be an excess depth of research to prove why Venezuela is better than Somalia. It's difficult to say by a primary source from one Venezuelan citizen.
