The #NoMore Campaign has won it seems

These are the events that took place within the last 2 weeks:

1. Ethiopian military has defeated the TPLF by pushing them back from Afar and Tigray regions.
2. The Chinese FM recently paid visit to Asmara, Eritrea, and announced a partnership with the Government of Eritrea.
3. The political crisis between the Somali President and PM has started.
4. The US Government announced the replacement of its Horn of Africa envoy, and instead nominated a new one.
5. An agreement has been announced between Somali leaders on the election yesterday, while Somali PM Farmaajo remains the supreme leaders of the security forces.
6. Today the PM of Ethiopia has announced that President Biden had a phone conversation with him.

So if I try to make sense out if it, President Biden doesn't want to lose the Horn of Africa to China. So he decided to change course. It does seems to me the president is shifting gears now. The biggest losers are anyone who bet on regime change in Etrhiopia and Somalia. And most importantly, Secretary Blinken using Kenya when he wanted to discuss Ethiopia, Somalia, and Eritrea seems to have been abandoned by President Biden. Therefore, to conclude it, it seems the #NoMore campaign has borne fruits.

Naah Abye has capitulated. He released all political prisoners.

Abye has released that at the end of the day he can keep calling TDF terrorists and has to negotiate with them.

Amhara are the losers here.

Now, it seems President was requesting - and not dictating to PM Abiy Ahmed - to allow "humanitarian access to all of the regions. Not sure what that means.

Released them after elections and defeating TPLF. Airstrikes still continue in Tigray and today Jawar praised Abiy for his "change of tone". It does not seem like capitulation and why would he now that he is in a much stronger position.

"No such necessity exists in South Asia at the moment to the regret of some Pakistanis, but it’s nowadays becoming more self-evident in the Horn due to the latest developments that were earlier discussed: the TPLF’s crushing defeat on the battlefield, the government’s amnesty of several individuals for strategic peacemaking reasons connected to the inclusive national dialogue, and China’s decision to appoint an envoy to the region. With the regional tide decisively turning against US interests, and to no small part due to the #NoMore movement, the US felt compelled to experiment with a policy recalibration."
