The reason that men don't really go for the ball-busting career woman is because she has a lot of masculine traits. That is unattractive to men. Masculine men prefer feminine women. Working 50 hours a week at a company wearing a suit is not feminine. Men really don't care about the ambition or status of potential spouses it is women who care about the success and ambition of a man. Women want a masculine man who is hardworking and ambitious while men prefer submissive home oriented women. At the end of the day it is a win-win. @bobsburger I would say the reasoning behind this depends on the man. Some prefer not to be intellectually challenged or outdone by their spouse. Some may find hard to compete with a women in a higher education or tax bracket. Or prefer to be with a simple housewife. Hell some equate educated women with ciyaalsuqnimo which is offensive and inaccurate.

Uni takes only 3 years lol . Most people don't do their masters degree afterwards. It's hardly a lifelong commitment.

Well if the women puts effort into improving herself though pursuing an education and career then it shouldn't be considered unreasonable for a woman to demand that as a minimum in a guy. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. If a woman waits for the right guy she is too picky and unreasonable. If she lowers her standards she's a loser with no options.

I've noticed that most masculine women will drop the act when they come across men they can look up to in any way, shape or form.
Most of it comes down to a mix of being self sufficient, somewhat intelligent, easy to talk to and most importantly, sex appeal.

Sex appeal itself is a mix of many things. A strong reality of mind, confidence, emotional control, charm and being able to arouse a woman's mind.

But before any of that, if you're not her type from the get go, forget everything I said.
