That's exactly the question that we need to ask. A new PM will probably sack the whole cabinet, even if some of these people are doing amazing work such as Beileh the finance minister. There's a few good ministers at the moment, so it'll set us back by another 6 months.
Since ethiopia + Damuul Jadiid engineered this impeachment (and Khayre was too stupid to see it coming) as I predicted in my Khayre + investments thread, that means they already have a gang of stooges waiting to do 100X more damage than currently, neatly hiding amongst the MP's. The best thing for our country is stability right now, and a change of government is not what we need, but there are actually up sides to this.
Farmaajo can get ahead of this, if Khayre is impeached, by appointing a Hawiye heavy weight and nationalist such as
Mohamed Nur Tarzan. This would be the right way to go. Afterwards, they need to watch their backs and not take any chances with habashi threatening their lives, because this outcome would be the worst case scenario for habashi+HSM/Damuul Jadiid+UAE+Amisom.
A strong, nationalist and non-qabilist + non-greedy hawiye PM is the worst nightmare for habashi. Weight that up against Khayre and Soma-oil...
Khayre was compromised from day one.
If he appoints a nationalist and courageous individual like tarzan or any other hawiye of the same caliber, then we'll actual be better off and you'd see rapid improvements.
Either way, this is good for our country:
1. Khayre gets impeached, and a more competent and non-habashi appeasing PM takes office.
2. Khayre doesn't get impeached, but President Farmaajo decides to micromanage everything to make sure Khayre doesn't make any more blunders.
