I oppose the usage of the land suffix to refer to the northwest. Anyone who uses teh -land suffix is in my opinion being historically incorrect because the modern iteration of Jeegaania has nothing in common with the June 26 1960 version:
Different flags.
It is Somaliphobic
It doesn't allow southern parties to form in jeegaania even though in 1960, SYL used to operate both south and north
It primarily represents the interests of only two clans: HJ and HA. the others aren't fully on board or totally opposed.
The previous protectorate was divided into 7 maamuls: (warsangeli, Habar jeclo, Habar Awal, Garxajis, Dhulbahante, Ciise, gadabuursi) each ahd separate treaties.. Jeegaania has refused to acknowledge this previous iteration.
It refuses to acknowledge that Dhulbahante were darwiish rather than Landers, and even pre-Darwiish Dhulbahante garaads refuse to sign a protectorate treaty.
Since Jeegaania has nothing in common with 1960, why call it "s-Land" Refer to its by its correct name, i.e. Jeegaania.
