I like to be fair with history but the truth is, Marehans have always been in Gedo but under MSB, Rahanweyns owned huge portions of Gedo so MSB displaced them and wanted to make Gedo purely Marehan. I read a source where Siyad Barre wanted to make Jubbaland a pure Darood state.
