The Issue In The West Is Nepotism Not Racism

I know many of us assume racism is the biggest issue facing migrants and blacks and being isolated from opportunities in the market place and punished harder by the legal system and overpoliced. Some even argue that migrants-black do not even get the same start in education quality thru systemic racism and therefore leading to generational failure. I hear you and I accept these are undeniable also but I don't think it's the root cause but more a symptom from the root cause.

The root cause is nepotism. The good old boys club is the issue. Minorities/Black simply do not establish good cross social ties with the whites and therefore you are not within their circles of friends. This sort of culture was rampant in urban mogadishu post independence where friend-immediate family was their values not social identity. I doubt very much social racism is rampant and people simply do not have time or energy to hate others who they don't even know. That's like me or you walking around in public and hating every stranger due to their identity. This scenario seems unlikely to me.

But why I say nepotism is the root cause, friends and immediate family and people they can connect with at a social level will always take precedent over others outside that circle irrespective of race. It just happens migrants and blacks are not in those circle at a large scale to begin ending the barriers they face. This most likely leads to what looks like racism on the surface is far deeper to your simply not in their social circle and they will mark my words always choose someone from their social circle and if this is repeated on a national scale, u can see that whiteness seems to become over-represented.

As for the social disadvantage and not giving non whites are good foundation such as quality schooling with real measurable outcomes to change their generational problems is also linked to white preference becuz naturally they feel they can fit into their social circle. This then leads into the symptoms which u see as racism, such as higher crime rates becuz they need to survive, higher policing follows on, harsher laws and punishment flows and then it recircles back to the next generation born following into the same cycle poor education quality, goes into crimes of survival, higher policing, harsher laws. This then effects their social image as a whole even the good ones who start getting looked down on and miss out on opportunities even if talented and stubborn as hell, this effects their whole community marketability in the economy even the good ones.

So it's a true shit fest but it's rooted in nepotism. To cure it will require next generation to tap into social exchanges with their generation, especially influential ppl/elites zip codes and bridge that social networking gap very early on before they become elites, to lift up our people image and reduce their chance of social networking disadvantage. If this isn't done, it doesn't matter how good or hard you work, you will continue being disadvantaged.

And why do minorities not have those important connections? If blacks could not get loans, were forced into ghettos, not given good education then there's no generational wealth and you end up in a cycle of poverty. The root is always systemic racism. It is also culture though, certain minorities have a good work ethic(Asians) while some (AA) are obsessed with thuggery.

Intresting that’s crazy.

unless nepotism in this case is being referred to someone you know

Yes. I think it's even higher due to including managers who are referred candidates by other trusted people. Your grades and sometimes even your degree is absolutely useless. Training occurs at your job, not school. Spend as much time networking as you do studying. That's not a exaggeration. Racism is 99 % BS and an illusion. It doesn't exist.

Facts. School should be a vehicle for , accreditation , grad school , or landing an internship job. If you are not making these a priority during university you are wasting your time

Even grad school is mostly useless. Experience and relationships trumps it 150%. Don't waste your time on it unless your employer pays for it or if you're in senior roles. Better to befriend important people at a fraternity and attend weekly social galas and events and get a barely passable GPA and working on your personality than be a hermit with a 3.7 GPA. Real life is very unfair. You will be hired over more competent people by simply supporting the right sports team in the wrong town.
