The man known as Muhi-ud-Din Muhammad, is more widely known by his nickname Aurangzeb- which is Persian for "Ornament Of The Throne".

He was the sixth Mughal Emperor and ruled all of India for nearly half a century after being coronated at 40 years old.

The man is seen by Muslims as one of our greatest figures of the last few centuries, but at the same time widely hated and said to be the worst ruler in Indian history by Hindus and other non-Muslims.

After his fathers death he engaged in a hard conflict with his brother over the throne. His brother, Dara Shikoh was a Hindu and not as warlike as his brother.

Aurangzeb prevailed. Upon his capture Daru Shikoh was paraded through Delhi and brought to his brother.

Aurangzeb declared his brother an apostate and enemy of Islam, and had him executed.

With his throne secured, Aurangzeb looked to the future of the Mughal.

The Mughal Empire reached their greatest heights during his lifetime: he brought them to 4 million KM of land and under his rule they had an annual revenue of $450 million in 1690.

The annual revenue of the Empire does not sound so great today, but keep in mind this all happened nearly 320 years ago.

Under his rule the Mughal Empire became the world's largest empire, ahead of Qing China and Western Europe.

"The Empire contained 24.2% of the worlds population, and nearly a quarter of the world's output".

Aurangzeb, in addition to being a great commander, was a deeply pious man. He memorized The Quran and hadiths, and strictly followed all rituals of Islam.

His predecessors viewed the royal treasury as their personal bank of sorts but he viewed it as strictly for the people. He did not wear luxurious clothes, although he could.

He introduced the jizyah tax on non Muslims in his realm which causes non-Muslim Indians to look upon him unfavorably.

Due to his hardline stances, many scholars consider him as unfit to have ruled over India's mixed religion population.

His massive reforms won him distaste from all but the Muslims to this day.

In Pakistan, however, he is revered. We could debate over him until our teeth fall out, but it is clear he was a legendary ruler of his people.

This is how modern day muslim "rulers" should be...

Follow Allah's words and he will reward you with authority in this dunya and paradise in the akhirah.

What a fantastic bargain !!

Today they shit in the Ganges which they consider holy.
these days the river is the 6th most polluted river in the world :mjlol:

How polluted is the Ganges River?
Today, the Ganges is considered to be the sixth-most polluted river in the world. ... An estimated Rs 2,958 Crores (US$460 million) have been spent until July 2016 in various efforts in cleaning up of the river.

Winding over 1,500 miles to the Bay of Bengal, Ma Ganga — “Mother Ganges”— eventually becomes one of the planet's most polluted rivers, a mélange of urban sewage, animal waste, pesticides, fertilizers, industrial metals and rivulets of ashes from cremated bodies.
