Skin bleaching is rampant in urban areas. It's gotten so bad that they now look like actual whites. Two of my underage cousins are whiter than the average white person. You see women so white that you even doubt if they are Somali.
The bleaching has also sadly reached the baadiyo.

It's not about pride or lack thereof - it's about standards - monkey see, monkey do.

Light Yagami, All Might, Bakugo, Tsukishima and Oikawa from Haikyuu and among other examples of straight up Cadaan looking characters rather than Japanese.

Even in Anime and Manga an Overwhelming Majority of them look Cadaan and not even Japanese. All these Characters with Blonde and Brown hair looking like an Cadaan fresh from Germany yet have Japanese Name and very clearly based off Cadaans yet Western Anime Consumers will swear up and down it's not the case when they know deep down it is the case.

You're telling me that Gojo isn't just straight up Cadaan or Bakugo from MHA or any of these other characters that are clearly Cadaan and the Entire Industry is just Cadaan-centric.

Almost Everybody knows that Somalis have an Almost Distinct Signature Look that many can Distinguish from Miles away even next groups that are "Skinny, Tall" and "Narrow".

Nobody is really talking about Hair Straightening and I've personally never heard of a case that covers that. Not to toot my own horn but we have beautiful hair and take pride in it so those cases I haven't heard of, may have to double check on that tho.
