what an idiot. and she dragged her ajanabi friend with her. Apparently she was doing humanitarian relief but was caught drinking at a club in Hargeisa.

Lmao, now whenever anybody she works for does a background check, she’s gonna be known as the woman who drank alcohol in a Muslim country

The audacity to drink and party in Somalia is something else. This trash needs to be kicked out of the Somali community

What was their thought process?
“Let’s drink alcohol in a Muslim country that enforces harsh punishments if caught.”
10/10 flawless decision making skills I’m in awe.

Let me get this straight, you go to 100% muslim country and bring booze with you, and you complain about couple lashes for breaking the law, people go to jail for a long time for a possession of few grams of cannabis even in Canada.

@AdeerAli

It was alleged in court without any proof, they didn't have any traces of alcohol in their smell or blood and no alcohol was ceased in their premises. they were viewed as trouble makers and these were trumped up charges to discourage people like them causing "trouble" for government officials.

She and her friend where accused of drinking yet they didnt have any evidence to charge them for it cause they made it all up thats why they where released

Even the judge dropped all the charges due to lack of evidence if they really dranked alcohol you dont think they would seize the bottles as evidence?

She and her friend worked for an NGO that tries to stop child marriages

So the SL authorities randomly just picked up on these girls out of all the Somalilanders diaspora visiting Somaliland?
:shookgabre::birdman:
that logic has a flow because it doesn't make any sense at all, they are guilty as charged because they actually did it.

@AdeerAli

These two girls weren’t visiting relatives or doing business in Somaliland like the others from the diaspora, they were there on behalf of a NGO that fights for women issues and in particular Child marriages. It’s great to support your maamul, but honourable to point out to them when they make mistakes.
