Once Ethiopia becomes Muslim-majority in 8-9 years, would you be hostile to the existence of an Ethiopian state? Of course, as long as it democratizes and ethnic federalism is improved on.

I think Afar, Somali, Oromo, Harari, etc can find common ground in those conditions. The dismantling of Amharic throughout the country due to the TPLF and the Amhara on the cusp losing their majority in Addis & the rest of urban Oromia means that Ethiopia is a blank-slate currently.

That’s impossible. It would nice, but let’s be realistic. Regardless of having deen in common, our people in the horn are extremely tribal. There is no common language, and neither Oromo or Somali would want to shift to either language. Before we can think of any of that, which again would be ideal, we need to focus on ourselves. Fix our own conflicts, sustain power and grow our economy in our own regions. If there is a leadership and majority vote to join, I’m sure many will be down but that highly unrealistic right now.

There is bad blood, a lot of hatred and so much more we need to resolve.
