FGM is part of our culture. Hence why 95% of girls have it preformed on them, But since it's part of our culture is OK isn't it ?
There is no other reason apart from Qabils that holds Somalia back from developing.

Qabil is one of the few reasons somalis have been able to dominate africa for thousands of years, qabil is also one of the reasons that we as a ethnic group has survived.

I'm not advocating that we ban it , what i am saying is that it is amongst the stupidest concepts ever created and the only way of eradicating the cancer that is Qabil is through education and good governance both of which are hindered by Qabilism.

Yes and no. If we look at Somalia today and it continues this way then no. However we have been in worst state before. Opportunities to uplift ourself will arise and we have to grab it. We must develop a do or die attitude before hand. Our ambition must be greater than settling for elections held in an airport hangers, food aid, qabil mamuls leaders who take orders from ethios and proudly so. We have to strive for sovereignty at all cost. When this changes then our future will change for the better. Rn we have we have leaders who cant meet anywhere without un supervisors. The people have to come on board and call out this sham for what it really is, adoonsi and demand more. We need a another kacaan but not repeat the mistakes of the 1st one.

Qabil is the reason for somali success, setbacks happen all the time, everywhere.
Good governance is only stopped by personal interests and religious extremism.
