Baatis literally became a staple in many parts of africa near to us and these people wear it how come you are shitting on that? It's like saying Japan with its soft power which is anime is "low-key sad" also I don't care if you hate it or not we have to ensure that we know this because you don't know how many cultures are trying to claim this and steal it from us, example sudan.

In the arab world Somalis are well known for being medical students in Sudan, entrepreneurs in UAE and having a large long historical presence in yemen , Oman and saudi arabia

Somalis are also in india and malaysia for school and have communities and significant diaspora in muslim nations such as a turkey, Egypt,

Notorious is a disingenuous word to use. We are targets for the far right and have angered many people from westerners, europeans and africans to our group economics, insularity and unit way of moving. We have a presence all round the world in different spheres whether it be politically, economically, religiously , or cultural and will continue to do so.
