This nikka is elite hater. Somalis have been rising recently in cultural impact in the west and middle east. Biggest youtuber in ME is somali and Beta squad are becoming more and more popular. Somali food is going clear in London/tiktok and the rest of the diasporas are starting to open somali restaurants. 1st somali restaurants not exclusive to somalis opened here and somalis dragged all their cadaan and ajanabi friends there, and now more is coming.
This is just baby steps for us.
Outside of max northern european countries and Minnesota where somalis are the largest african group thus get most attention, nowhere else do somalis get attention.

In Africa, Somalis have a large political presence in Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Zambia.
To add in terms of entrepreneurship, Somalis are currently a large economic presence in Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya, South Africa and currently in the Congo. The richest women in Uganda is a Somali woman Amina Hersi.
In North America, Somalis have made history by having people like Ilhan Omar, the first Muslim and American citizen born outside of the US elected into congress. Lot of other states (Too many to name are represented as mayors, city councillors, congress representatives not only in MN but states like Washington, Ohio , and Maine please add more if i forgot i’m not too familiar with american poltics)

We are targets for the far right and have angered many people from westerners, europeans and africans to our group economics, insularity and unit way of moving. We have a presence all round the world in different spheres whether it be politically, economically, religiously , or cultural and will continue to do so. Literally, the most famous YouTuber in the Middle East in terms of numbers and views is Somali. In poetry, we also have an imprint there, such as the poet Ali Sawakhroun, with whom the most famous singers in the Gulf collaborated. We have a footprint everywhere, which is amazing, considering that we are few in number compared to these countries.
