I've been trying to ring the alarm bells to these people for years but they'd rather obfuscate the reality of the situation for their own self comfort.
They said it's only a matter of time until Ethiopia has is own 1991 style collapse and we'll finally be able to get Somali Galbeed back
View attachment 351849, yet it didn't happen in 2018 when Oromos protested and brought Abiy into power, nor did it happen during the Tigray war, and It is unlikely to happen anytime soon, if ever.
The fact is, Ethiopia is growing at an unprecedented rate. They have double our GDP per capita despite being landlocked with 100 million more people. They have 10 years on our life expectancy and they've sustained nearly 10% GDP growth year-on-year for most of this century. They've already overtaken Kenya as East Africa's largest economy and have only pulled further ahead since. The data doesn't lie, no matter how much some wish it did.

If we don't get our affairs in order immediately, Wallahi I don't think there will be a country on the map called Somalia by mid-century as we know it today. We have no national power grid, no large energy plants, no industry, no monetary policy, and no rail infrastructure. Yet some here think we're on the same level as Ethiopia that completed the GERD dam, that has a national power grid, rail infrastructure, multilane highways, waste to energy plants, and Air force with *fighter Jets*, the same country who damed up our rivers and controls our water flow, that has thousands of troops in our country dictating local politics. Wake up to reality, either we have a revolution that completely does away with the foreign imposed 4.5 FGS/Member state framework and bring in a government fit for the 21st century or we perish.
